There are no tiers to decode. The fee is the estimating time the job needs, at one published rate.
The rate
Estimating time is charged at £25.00 an hour, ex VAT, with a minimum fee of £50.00. The price form works the hours out from the scopes you pick, the number of drawings and how complex the job is, and shows you the fee as you go.
Other ways to price
- By floor area, when you know the size of the building but not the sheet count. Every 250 m² counts as one drawing.
- By tonnage, for steelwork, at £3.50 per tonne.
What makes it cheaper
- Bundling scopes. We read the drawing set once, so each extra scope on the same job costs less than buying it on its own.
- A standard turnaround. Faster returns cost more, because they push other work aside.
What you will never see
A fee that changes after you approve it. We confirm it in writing, hold it for 30 days, and invoice on delivery. There is no card payment on the site.
