The quality of a takeoff is set before anyone measures a thing: it depends on what arrives in the inbox. Here is what lets us price quickly and without guesswork.
The drawings
- General arrangements for every level, plus sections and elevations.
- The engineer’s set for structural scopes: member schedules, connection details and the specification.
- The latest revision of each sheet. If you are unsure, send them all and we will use the newest of each.
PDF is ideal. DWG, DXF and IFC are welcome, and a ZIP of the whole set is fine: we open it and count every sheet inside.
The context
- Your tender return date, so we can tell you straight away if we cannot meet it.
- Which scopes you want priced, and anything you already know is excluded.
- Any tender queries or addenda issued so far.
What happens next
We check the set within two working hours and confirm the fee in writing before any work starts. If something important is missing, we say so then, not on the day it is due.
